I will teach you about neurodiversity, and how the differences in your neurotypes cause confusion and misunderstandings. This provides you with a framework for understanding your relationship in a totally new way and will give you some immediate, initial, relief from the confusion and misunderstandings.
I will help you resolve the question of "IF" one of you has traits and characteristics of neurodiversity. My comprehensive relationship evaluation assesses both of you to see how you are different from one another - not just how one of you is different from the world. Clarity is also a critical part of discernment for partners who feel hopeless. Getting clarity is essential for identifying a direction to take in your relationship, and in your education and coaching.
Partners who have been in disconnected, painful, relationships for a long time are often considering leaving or ending the relationship. One of the biggest mistakes I've seen therapists and couples make when starting counseling or coaching is immediately working on relationship repair. FIRST, you must determine if being in the relationship is the direction you are taking. This isn't always a quick or easy process, but it cannot be skipped. I will meet you where you are, and help you get to where you want, and need, to be.
Once you determine your direction, even if you struggle with feeling confident about your choice, then you need solutions for moving forward. If you are choosing to stay in your relationship to work on resolving painful disconnection by developing new skills within a neurodiverse framework, I will pull out my toolbox and we'll get to work! If you have decided that you've reached the end of your relationship and need help making this transition, I will help you work through the pain, grief, and upheaval of such a massive change to your world.

traits and characteristics of neurodiversity
self-reported, and partner-observed difficulties related to executive function including initiation, overwhelm planning, self-monitoring, emotional regulation, self-control, working memory, time management, and organization
sensory processing thresholds
overall life satisfaction
and relationship dynamics such as conflict style, stress levels, intimacy, financial strain, and perceptions of control in the relationship.
I will create a customized private coaching plan for you based on your specific needs and situation. I typically recommend coaching in blocks of monthly intensives ranging from one to four months depending on your specific need and situation.

Can I pay for your services with insurance?
The short answer is no.
For an explanation of why insurance is not accepted, please keep reading.
Insurance companies require provider licensure in the state where the client is located to reimburse services here in the United States. I see clients worldwide (and sometimes two individuals will be in two different states). There is no current national licensure here in the United States or an international licensure.
Insurance companies also typically require a clinical diagnosis or proof of medical necessity to file an insurance claim as well as a billing service code. Some EAP (Employee Assistance Programs) don't require diagnosis, but clinicians are often required to submit treatment plans that are reviewed to approve services.
In this coaching program, I don't use a medical model of clinical diagnosis and treatment. My private coaching is very different from the traditional counseling model and is more comprehensive than "by the session" appointments that have time limits that are determined by the insurance companies based on the service being provided (usually 50 minutes).
Regarding qualifications, I was a licensed professional counselor for 20 years in the State of Georgia and am qualified and trained to clinically provide diagnosis.
Is there a payment plan option?
I understand that budgeting and finances are a big concern, and I don't want this to be the reason that you don't get the help you need.
Many credit cards have extended pay options for low to no interest.
I am also able to offer you an installment option which will give you flexibility to make evaluation or coaching installment payments for up to 4 months from the date of booking There is a 3% service fee for installment plans.
How are appointments conducted?
All appointments are virtual and conducted on Zoom.
Intensive coaching is also conducted weekly via direct messaging using the secure app, SIGNAL.
What if my partner doesn't want to participate?
You can book a private consultation with me together or without your partner. These appointments are often very enlightening for individual partners, and provide a great deal of direction and reassurance.
Intensive coaching is usually reserved for couples simply due to limitations in my overall availability. However, I do make exceptions on a case by case basis depending on the needs of each individual. A consultation is required prior to beginning coaching with me.
I also require evaluations prior to beginning coaching. This allows us to establish a baseline for your perceptions of your own abilities and challenges. Comprehensive relationship evaluations are for both partners which allows me to determine how you are different from one another in areas such as neurodiverse traits, executive functioning, sensory processing, personality, conflict styles, assertiveness, and much more.
